Does anybody know why replicants are interesting ? I can't find in my
mind in what they bring an interesting feature :/

Does anybody know why replicants are interesting ? I can't find in my
mind in what they bring an interesting feature :/

They presented a trivial way for an application to support an embedding
surface for other applications' content. It's Active Desktop, but
elegant and available to pretty much anything that wants to support it.
