Hello,
The last time I went on Be's site (that does not exist anymore) there
was proceedings againts Be. I do not remember what it was exactly and
the BeNewsletters archive wasn't there.
I remember that there were proceedings against the Encyclopedia when it
started to be published. The "Jesuites" and the royal academy were
against the Encyclopedia - they thought is was too dangerous - it was
before the Revolution (14th of July 1789).
Linux is universal and is the Encyclopedia of today's computers. It is
international.
The main ideas of the Encyclopedia are :
"Memoria, Phantasia, Ratio".
Which means, memory, comparison and imagination. May the Encyclopedia
help this century (Diderot).
(I don't want Shice Beoney to censor my sheets of paper).

"They that give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary
safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety". Benjamin Franklin ~1750.
Benjamin Franklin came in France to meet Diderot and D'Alembert.
One of the main authors of the Encyclopedia was the knight Jaucourt.
